This place resembles the pictures, and as others mentioned, a staff member in Chemax guided us to this developing resort. A 10 minute drive on a bumpy road leads into the jungle and the resort. Everything was clean. The cabin's outdoor bathroom had a large bathtub, and after initial coordination, we had a dedicated water heater, providing warm water throughout our stay. Mosquito nets on beds protected against wildlife. The jungle surroundings featured geckos, bugs, and harmless snakes. The Mexican breakfast offered an intimate insight into local food culture, which Anna prepared for us. Humberto ensured our safety, answering our questions and assisting with needs. A communal kitchen in the main house allowed us to prepare meals. The self-sufficient resort faced occasional electricity issues due to solar panels, but staff actively resolved bugs. If you embrace nature and of-grid living, this is the place to be. We really recommend you this experience. Thanks a lot for everybody!.

It was truly adventurous trip from the very beginning: because the place is kind of deep in the jungle and the geo-location is not helpful to render specific driving directions, the host’s representative met us in the nearest town and we followed her motorbike to get to the place. And we finally arrived to the place, we all (myself, husband and two of our little toddlers) were excited to find ourselves inside of the house from a fairytale that looked like exactly as pictured on the listing’s photos, and in an absolutely wonderful friendly company of the host and his guests from other cabins. We spent amazing two nights at this place that has a soul of its own. Highly recommend for people who want to spend time in the wild of real jungles yet with all necessary conditions and amenities for comfort. You will fall in love with the night sky full of stars! Also worth mentioning separately that the host, Rigo, and his partner, Rob, are both fantastic persons to talk about anything in life!

An excellent place. If you are looking for a getaway with family or friends... A different and nice place this place is perfect. You can get in touch with nature in a cute, comfortable, cozy place. This is the first time we stayed at this location and it truly met our expectation. Although the place is somewhat hidden, it is not inconvenient since Roger reaches you at the church and guides you to get to the site... you have to contemplate that it is terracer!
When you arrive, they tell you what your cabin is and the host greets you personally.
We didn't bring food or water and they offered to get us some dinner.
The cabin is quite spacious and the water for bathing is fresh 😉
Sheets and towels are clean.
If what you want is a place to relax and out of the hustle and bustle this is the perfect place 💯

Enjoyed our stay at the cabin; it was peaceful and very close to the nature. Checkin was little tricky because the cabin is located in a secluded place; but Rigo and his crew were very helpful even though we checked in late at night. We met a guy at Chemax town, and followed him to the cabin (about 2 km). The freshly prepared breakfast in the kitchen was another highlight of the stay.

The place is spectacular. It is a wild and beautiful escape out in the middle of nowhere. The price at the time was a little higher than other places in the countryside but it is understandable why.

Wonderful place to meditate, to enjoy the smell and sounds of Mother Nature. Let me not forget mentioning the thousands of butterflies present.
The Cabaña is beautifully designed. And truly has all one needs. Even wifi and electricity.

How to begin... Rigo and co. have created a hidden jungle oasis which surpassed our expectations and made us want to stay forever!
The feeling of peace we experienced upon our arrival was immediate. The setting, landscaping and architecture are created and maintained with such care and dedication. We were so happy Rigo arrived to tell us of his vision. It is absolutely beautiful!
We were met in Chemax and escorted to the site, which helped us navigate the long and winding driveway.
There were always people around to help and accommodate any of our needs. We had an amazing authentic breakfast made for us. We always felt welcome and safe, and like a part of the community that is being built here.
We really loved the location, as we wanted to escape the crazy touristy places and experience authentic Mexico. Whether you're looking for a quiet, meditative retreat, or a launch pad for exploring local sites this is THE place to be. We will be back. Salut!

The location is very quiet and remote, about 20 minutes from the village Chemax on a dirt road. The architecture is stunning, very beautiful details. I loved the huge bathtub and how the shower had no ceiling and you can see the stars. The pool just for us was a great luxury, the kids loved it, that was a treat.
It was a bit difficult without a car to get around, especially without speaking Spanish. We arranged taxis through the host at prices which seemed high. I would recommend getting the number of a moto and arranging that independently.
Some of the houses are still under construction, when they are finished this would be a very cool retreat space. Right now it is kind of a mix of amazing luxury and "glamping". The private cenote is pretty, note that you can't swim in it but you can look down at it.

It's a jungle experience, we love every detail of nature. It's for travelers who really want to get to know the MAYAN jungle. The cabins are amazing , Mary and Roger were so nice and helpful on our visit. They gave us complimentary owls of chaya, a very natural and relaxing atmosphere. You have to be at the best disposal, in the understanding that you are in a place away from the cavilation, prepare for the ECO-TOURIST adventure. Sure we'll be back, thank you very much Rigo❤️
